Dog Diet Labrador and Supplements

If you are possessing a Labrador dog, you are recommended to be highly careful about the diet that you will be giving your dog. The health of especially the Labrador dogs are highly dependant on the nutrition of the diet that you will be providing it. So, while creating a diet chart you should be well aware of the fact that your dog must be given a protein rich diet along with essential nutrients, carbohydrates, fats and useful vitamins and minerals. The diet that you would be serving your dog would actually directly put an impact on the general health and the longevity of your Labrador dog.


There are mainly three types of dog food, semi moist, canned and dry. Along with the other food items you can feed your Labrador dog with a food supplements containing important vitamins and minerals.


Though you may feed your dog with supplements containing vital minerals and vitamins, but you must always consult a good veterinary physician. Usually dog owners are not advised to feed their pets with supplements unless they are diagnosed of suffering from any particular type of mineral deficiency. Also, be careful about the quantity and the fixed time at which you will be administering your dog with supplements.
